The Department of Business Information Management (BIM) is a part of the Lancashire Business School (LBS). It comprises, in terms of teaching, research and scholarly activity, the academic disciplines: business information systems, management science and business analysis.

In addition, on behalf of LBS, it manages a portfolio of courses related to these disciplines, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These include the full-time undergraduate courses BA Business Studies, BA/BSc Business Information Technology and BA e-Business, all of which demonstrate the commitment of Lancashire Business School to academic excellence and vocational relevance as they each involve a one year work placement. BA Business Studies is also offered in part time mode.
